City Attorney Murphy:s_ubmitted the Extension of Lease between the City of Redding and,L. �.. Butzbach for certain land at Re�dding Municipal Airport. Mr. Arness stated that the Redding Elementary School District has-requested that the City ask for an alternate bid on this project to provide for eolored con- crete courts. The� estimate for thes�e �courts; based on colored concrete, is $55, 000. Mr. Arness said if the project meets with Council approval and approval of the ]E2edding Elementary S'cliool District, the Dep'artment of Public Works requests permission to advertise for bids beginning June I; bid opening - June 15; and award of bid on June 20. During discussion of this item it was noted that $18, 500 has been tentatively allocated for tliis projeet.
