WHE AS.
A. On June 17, 2025, by Resolution No. 2d25-047, the City Council,{Council) approved the
Reparts of the Engineer as filed with the City Clerk re�ating ta Sanitary Sewer
Maintenance I?istrict O1-07 and 01-19 (Districts), and gave notice of the time and place
of the July 15, 2025, public hearing rebarding the levy and collectian of the assessrnent
for Fiscal Year 2Q25-2b, and
�. t ieneral locations of the I7istricts are included in the table belQw, and a map is attached to
the Engineer's Reports an file with the C�ty�lerk; and
C. The pui�lic heari�g, duly and properly noticed, commenced at the City Council
Chambers, 737 Cypress Avenue, Redding, California on July 15, 2025, and was
concluded prior to the adopti�n c�f this Resolution. At the public hearing, the Council
gave every interested person an oppc�rtunity ta object to the proposed assessment; and
D. The assessment for Fiscal Year 2025-26 is outlined ii1 the table below. This assessment
does not represent an increase within the meaning of the Streets and Highways Code
because the �'iscal Year 2025-26 cost of living adjustrnent in the arnount c�f 1.9 percent is
pursuant ta a methodolcagy approved at the time of the farmation of the Districts; and

l. The matters set farth abc�ve are true and correct.
2. The maps of the assessment district cantained in the Engineer's Reporks are cc�nfirmed.
3, The Council has considered all oral staternents and written protests or communications
made or filed by interested persons at the public hearing af July 15, 2025, and expressly
ov�rrules any and al1 protests filed abjecting to the praposed annual �ssessment and levy
arnount in the Districts.
4. The Cauncil finds that the Engineer's Reports have fairly and properly apportioned the
casts of the impravements to each developable lot, remaining parcel, Qr assessable acre of
land in the district in proportion to the estimated benefits to be receiVed by each
developable lot, remaining parcel,or assessable acre from the improvements.
5. The a�sessment against each developable Iot, remaining parcel,or assessable acre lc�cated
within the District for Fiscal Year 2025-26 is con�rmed, adopted, and levied as ou€Iined
in the table below, except that an assessrnent shall not be levied on property owned by a
federal or state government�l agency or anotl�er locai agency.
6. The City Clerk shall forthwith transfer to the �.uditor Controller and the Assessor
Recorder af Shasta County a certified copy of this resolution and a certified cc�py of the
assessment district maps contained in the Engine�r's Repart for Sanitary Sewer
Maintenance District 01-07 and 01-19.
