M. by Vice Mayor Chatfield with the following Councilmen present: Denny, Fulton, and Chatfield Absent: Councilmen Doherty and Moty ' � Also present were Assistant City Manager and Purchasing Director Stewart, City Attorney Murphy, Finance Director and Personnel Director Courtney, Public Works Director Arness, Planning Director Harris, and City Clerk Brayton. PUBLIC HEARING - Twin View Annex No. 1 The hour of 7:30 P. M. having arrived, Vice Mayor Chatfield opened the Public Hearing - Protests re Twin View Annex No. 1. The following documents are on file in the office of the City Clerk: Affidavits of Publication - Notice of Public Hearing - Resolution No. 4114 The City Clerk advised that a written protest had been received from Catherine M. Hiatt; the property consists of two parcels, 66-41 -37 and 66-41 -39 with assessed valua- tions of $730 and $300, respectively; is in life estate for Catherine Hiatt, and is listed on the Tax Rolls under the name of Evelyn K. Blandin, et al. There were no protests j from the floor. ���� City Attorney Murphy advised Council that inasmuch as this is a valid protest, the law provides that the public hearing must be recessed for a period of at least 10 days to allow for additional protests to be filed. There was a discussion as to the time and date for the con- tinued public hearing and Mr, Dean Braucher appeared before Council and expressed the hope that the continued public hearing would be held at an early date so that the election could be held on November 5th. MOTION: Made by Councilman Denny, seconded by Councilman Fulton that the public hearing re protests on Twin View Annex No. 1 be continued to 12:00 noon on Thursday, September 5, 1968.
