Redding, California July 29, 1968 12:00 Noon � The meeting was called to order at 12: 14 P.M. by Mayor Moty with the ' following Councilmen present: Chatfield, Denny, Doherty, Fulton, and ! Moty. Also present were City Manager Cowden, Assistant City Manager and Purchasing Director Stewart, Finance Director and Personnel Director Courtney, Public Works Director Arness, City Attorney Murphy, Planning Director Harris, Associate Planner Nebon, Electrical Lineman Toland, and Deputy City Clerk Richter. PERSONNEL BUDGET � � Nlayor Moty stated the purpose of calling a special meeting was to consider the adoption of resolutions pertaining to the 1968-69 Salary Budget. City A,ttorney Murphy submitted a memo dated July 29, 1968 re Procedure re 40-hour week for Sanitation Division. Director of Finance Courtney submitted a memo dated July 29, 1968 entitled 1968-69 Personnel Budget. A communication from Maurice E. Finn, Public Employees AFL-CIO, Local No. 22, dated July 25, 1968, was filed. �(�� MOTION: Made by Councilman Chatfield, seconded by Councilman Denny ✓,��� that Resolution No. 4104 be adopted, a resolution of the City Council of the City of Redding adopting and approving budget appropriations for the fiscal year 1968-69, pertaining to salaries in the City of Redding. Voting was as follows: i Ayes: Councilmen-Chatfield, Denny, Doherty, Fulton, and Moty � Noes: Councilmen None Absent: Councilmen-None Resolution No. 4104 on file in the office of the City Clerk MOTION: Made by Councilman Denny, seconded by Councilman Doherty that Resolution No. 4105 be adopted, a resolution of the City Council of . the City of Redding approving the salary plan for all classified employees of the City of Redding for the 1968-69 fiscal year. Voting was as follows: Ayes: Councilmen - Chatfie'ld, Denny, Doherty, Fulton, and Moty Noes: Councilmen - None Absent: Councilmen - None Resolution No. 4105 on file in the office of the City Clerk ADJOURNMENT There being no further business, at the hour of 12:25 P.M. , on the motion of Councilman Chatfield, seconded by Councilman Denny, the meeting was adjourned.
