Recommendation Accept the report providing the City af Redding Planning Commissian's members, their appointment terms, and their qualifications as listed on their applications. Further, provide staff direction as deemed necessary by the City Council. Alternative Action City Council (Council) could choose nati to accept the report. Background At the April 2, 2024, Council meeting, the Council requested the applications for the current Planning Commission members and information regarding their terms of service. Pursuant to the Redding Municipal Code Title 2 (Administration and Personnel), Chapter 2.52 (Planning Commission), Section 2.52.020 (Members-Appointments-Terms-Vacancies), t&�e I�lanning Conamissi�n shall eansist of seven m�mb�rs wha sha�l be eith�r residents, en�pl�y�d within the City of Redding (City), r�r business owners within the City. A11 members shall be appointed by the Mayor, subject to the apprc�val of a inajority of the me�nbers �f the City Council.
