A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING AMENDMENTS TO THE REHABILITATION LOAN POLICY
ADOPTED BY THE CITY COUNCIL RESOLUTION NO . 75-86
WHEREAS, the City of Redding has adopted a rehabilitation
loan policy by City Council Resolution No. 75-36 , and amended it
by Resolution No. 76-36 , Resolution No. 77-135 , Resolution No.
77-189 , Resolution No. 78-223 , Resolution No. 78-235 , and
WHEREAS , the City Council deems it to be in the best interest
of the citizens of the City of Redding that the rehabilitation loan
policy be further amended as set forth in Exhibit "A" , attached
hereto, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categori-
cally exempt from the provisions of CEQA,
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the amendments to the
rehabilitation loan policy , attached hereto as Exhibit "A" , is
hereby approved and adopted.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was introduced
and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of
Redding on the 18th day of December , 1978 , and was duly adopted
at said meeting by the following vote :
AYES : COUNCILMEN : Fulton, Gard, Kirkpatrick, Pugh, & Demsher
NOES : COUNCILMEN : None

Exhibit "A"
AMENDMENT NO. 6 TO CITY OF REDDING REHABILITATION LOAN POLICY
Section 10 - Special Programs : Add to Section 10 - Special
Programs , a new category, No. 4 , Sewer Assessment Loans , to
read as follows :
"4 . Sewer Assessment Loans
Residents within a sewer assessment district, who
qualify under the criteria of the rehabilitation
loan program, will be eligible for a loan to fi-
nance their sewer assessment.
Upon approval of the loan committee , a loan under
the above provision may be converted to a grant
if the property owner brings the residence into
compliance with the housing rehabilitation stand-
ards . "
