A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF A PARCEL MAP FOR LOT SPLIT
APPLICATION LS-106-78 .
WHEREAS , at its regular meeting of October 24 , 1978 ,
the Board of Administrative Review recommended approval of Lot
Split Application No. LS-106-78 , by J. J. Burchiel , requesting
adjustment of lot lines between properties identified as Assessor ' s
Parcels No. 108-030-21 and No. 108-030-40 , and ...
WHEREAS , attached hereto is a diagram marked "Exhibit A" ,
depicting the location of the parcels involved and the proposed
lot line adjustment, and
WHEREAS, Government Code Section 66412 (d) provides that
the Subdivision Map Act shall not apply to certain types of lot
line adjustments where such adjustments are approved by resolution
of the City Council, and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Board of Admin-
istrative Review and of the City Planning staff that the City
Council approve Lot Split Application No. LS-106-78 , and waive the
application of the Subdivision Map Act to said lot split by
resolution, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is
categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA:
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that-the City Council
of the City of Redding does hereby approve Lot Split Application
No. LS-106-78 , and waives further compliance with the Subdivision Map
Act in connection with said lot split, it being the express finding
of this City Council that this is merely a lot line adjustment
between two or more adjacent parcels , where the land taken from

one parcel is added to an adjacent parcel, and where a greater
number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby created.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 20th day of November , 1978 , and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES : COUNCILMEN: Fulton, Gard, Kirkpatrick, and Demsher
NOES : COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSTAINED: COUNCILMEN: Pugh
