RESOLUTION ACCEPTING REPORT AND SETTING HEARING
NORTH BONNYVIEW AREA SEWER ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1978-1
The City Council of the City of Redding resolves :
1. By direction of the City Council , the Director of
Public Works of the City of Redding, as Engineer of Work for North
Bonnyview Area Sewer Assessment District No. 1978-1, has filed with
the City Clerk the report described in Section 10204 of the Streets
and Highways Code (Municipal Improvement Act of 1913) . The City
Council has called for and received construction bids for the im-
provements described in the report. The lowest bid received is
higher than the amount estimated by the Engineer of Work. There-
fore, the City Council has directed the filing of an Amended Report.
2. The Amended Report, which has now been filed, states a
total amount to be assessed against benefited properties of $448 , 600,
and recommends increases in some of the individual assessments as a
result of recalculation of the proposed assessment spread. Therefore ,
the City Council will conduct an additional public hearing on the
Amended Report under the provisions of Section 10353 of the Streets
and Highways Code.
3. Notice is given that the hearing on the Amended Report
will be held on Monday, December 4, 1978, at 7: 30 p.m. at the meeting
place of the City Council of the City of Redding, located at 1313
California Street, Redding, California. At that time and place any

interested person having any objection to the proposed increase in
the amount to be assessed may appear before the City Council and show
cause why the increased assessments should not be ordered.
4 . Questions about the hearing proceedings will be
answered by Robert D. Hastings, Department of Public Works, City
Hall, 760 Parkview Avenue , Redding, California 96001 (Telephone:

5. The City Clerk is directed to publish this resolution
and to mail copies of the resolution as required by the Municipal Im-
provement Act of 1913, and to file an affidavit of compliance .
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly
and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Redding,
Shasta County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the
6th day of November, 1978 , by the following vote, to wit:
