RESOLUTION NO. 2004-142 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE MEMORANDUMS OF UNDERSTANDING ENTERED INTO BETWEEN THE CITY OF REDDING AND THE INTERNATIONAL BROTHERHOOD OF ELECTRICAL WORKERS, LOCAL UNION 1245, ELECTRIC AND MAINTENANCE UNITS, EFFECTIVE SEPTEMBER 7, 2004. WHEREAS, Local Union 1245, International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, Electric and Maintenance Departments, have been fonnally recognized as the majority representatives of an appropriate unit of employees, as set forth in Section 2.1 of Article 2 of the attached memorandum of Understanding; and WHEREAS, the designa.ted representatives of the City of Redding have conferred with and entered into Memorandums of Understanding with the designated representatives of Local Union 1245, International Broth,erhood of Electrical Workers, Electric and Maintenance Units, as required by the provisions of the: Meyers-Milias-Brown Act of 1968; and WHEREAS, true copies of the Memorandums of Understanding are available for review in the office of the City Clerk; NOW, THEREFORE, 11' IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the aforesaid Memorandums of Understanding is hereby amended as set forth in exhibits "A" and "B" effective September 7, 2004. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced, read, and adopted at a regular ~eeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 7th day of September, 2004, by the following vote: I AYES: !
