HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 78-068 - Approving right of Way for Relocation of PG&E Electric Lines in the Vicinity of the Sunnyhill Lane Pumping Station, as Part of the Rdg Regional WW System, and Authorizing the Mayor to Execute Said Right of Way on Behalf of the City RESOLUTION NO. 7S-6 8 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING APPROVING A RIGHT OF WAY FOR THE RELOCATION OF P .G. & E . ELECTRIC LINES IN THE VICINITY OF THE SUNNYHILL LANE PUMPING STATION, AS A PART OF THE REDDING REGIONAL WASTEWATER SYSTEM, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE SAID RIGHT OF WAY ON BEHALF OF THE CITY . WHEREAS , Pacific Gas and Electric Company has submitted for approval a right of way document providing for the relocation of electric lines in the vicinity of the Sunnyhill Lane pumping station , as a part of the Redding Regional Wastewater System, and WHEREAS, it is deemed in the best interests of the City to approve said right of way document, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the right of way document which is attached hereto , marked "Exhibit A" , and incor- porated herein by this reference , is hereby approved, and the Mayor is authorized to execute same for and on behalf of the City. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 15th day of May , 1978 , and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote : AYES : COUNCILMEN: Fulton, Gard, Kirkpatrick, Pugh, and Demsher NOES : COUNCILMEN : None ABSENT : COUNCILMEN : None DONALD M. Beginning at a point in the northwesterly boundary line of said lands and running thence south 30° 28-1/2' east approximately 2 feet to a point herein for convenience called Point "A"; thence south 19° 08' east 216 feet to a point in an:existing line of poles erected on said lands under and by virtue of the unrecorded deed from Inter-County Land and Investment Corp. • to the Pacific Gas and Electric Company and The Pacific Telephone and Telegraph Company, dated February 4, 1963; said Point "A" bears south 48° 43' west 7. 2 feet distant from the found 1/2 inch iron pipe and plug, marked RCE 591, accepted as marking the intersection of the northwesterly r • • boundary line of said lands with the westerly boundary line of the county • road known as Sunnyhill Lane. Such underground conduits, pipes, manholes, service boxes, wires, cables, and electrical conductors; aboveground marker posts, risers, and service pedestals; underground and aboveground switches, fuses, terminals, and transformers with associated concrete pads; and fixtures and appurtenances necessary to any and all thereof, as second party deems necessary located within the strips of land described as follows: 2. A strip of land of the uniform width of 10 feet lying contiguous to and southeasterly of the northwesterly boundary line of said lands and extending from the route hereinbefore described and designated 1, south- westerly approximately 108 feet to the southwesterly boundary line of said lands. 3. A strip of land of the uniform width of 10 feet lying contiguous to and northeasterly of the southwesterly boundary line of said lands and extending from the southeasterly boundary line of the strip of land hereinbefore described and designated 2, southeasterly 28.3 feet. Second party shall also have the right to trim and clear away or otherwise control any trees or brush along said pole line facilities whenever considered necessary for the complete enjoyment of the rights hereby granted.
