A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL.OF THE CITY OF REDDING
DISSOLVING THE FOLLOWING LIGHTING DISTRICTS: CHRISTENSEN
PARK, COUNTRY CLUB MANOR, DENTON, DENT ON SUBDIVISION UNIT
#3, FAIRWAY GARDENS, FIRST ADDITION CHRISTENSEN PARK, KAYDEE
SUBDIVISION, LAWNCREST VILLAGE, L•ORRAINE DRIVE, OAKWOOD
MANOR SUBDIVISION #2, PARSONS, REGAL AVENUE, ROBERT COURT,
ROESNER, STARVIEW ESTATES #6, SHIRLEY SUBIDIVISON, STARVIEW
ESTATES, STONE SUBDIVISION, VISTA DEL SOL.
WHEREAS, the reorganization of the Enterprise Public Util-
ities District by dissolution and annexation to the City of Redding
was completed on December 22, 1976, and
WHEREAS, Section 19270 of the Streets and Highways Code
authorizes the dissolution of any highway lighting district totally
within an incorporated city by means of adoption of a resolution of
dissolution by the legislative body of that city, and service of a
certified copy thereof upon the State Board of Equalization and the
County Assessor, and
WHEREAS, all of the highway lighting districts named below
are located totally within the boundaries of the District so dissolved
and annexed to the City,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that the following highway lighting districts:
Christensen Park, Country Club Manor, Denton, Denton Subdivision
Unit #3, Fairway Gardens, First Addition Christensen Park, Kaydee
Subdivision, Lawncrest Village, Lorraine Drive, Oakwood Manor Sub-
division #2, Parsons, Regal Avenue, Robert Court, Roesner, Starview
Estates #6, Shirley Subdivision, Starview Estates,Stone Subdivision,
Vista Del Sol, be and they hereby are declared to be dissolved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is directed to
file certified copies of this Resolution with the State Board of
Equalization and with the County Assessor of Shasta County.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council
of the City of Redding on the 27th day of December, 1976, and was
duly adopted at said
meeting
by the following vote:
