A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
DESIGNATING THE CITY MANAGER AS THE OFFICIAL AUTHORIZED
TO ACCEPT THE REVIEW APPRAISER'S REPORT AND VALUATIONS
AND TO ESTABLISH CERTAIN CERTIFICATIONS IN RELATION TO
PARCELS OF PROPERTY TO BE ACQUIRED FOR THE BUENAVENTURA
PROJECT.
WHEREAS, the Department of Housing and Urban Development
requires for the acquisition of real property under all community
development programs, among other things, a resolution from the
City Council designating an official to whom the Council delegates
the responsibility of certifying as to the following:
a) The establishment of just compensation (fair market
value) for each property to be acquired in the project,
b) Identification of each property by name of owner,
parcel number, or other identification,
c) The limits of the property to be acquired and the
interest to be acquired therein for each parcel, and
d) Certification that the work of the appraiser and the
review appraiser with respect to each property has been performed
in a competent manner in accordance with applicable State law, the
Act, and Department of Housing and Urban Development policies and
requirements, and
WHEREAS, it appears to the City Council that the City
Manager is the appropriate City official to be delegated this
certification responsibility by the Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of
the City of Redding designates William Brickwood, City Manager, as
the official=authorized to accept the review appraiser's report and
valuations and to establish the following certifications in relation
to each parcel of property to be acquired for the Buenaventura project:
1) The establishment of just compensation (fair market
value) for each property to be acquired in the project,
2) Identification of each property by name of owner,

3) The limits of the property to be acquired, and they
interest to be acquired therein for each parcel, and

4) Certification that the work of the appraiser and the
review appraiser with respect to each property has been performed
in a competent manner in accordance with applicable State law, the
Act, and Department of Housing and Urban Development policies and
requirements.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Redding on the 20th day of December, 1976, and was duly adopted
at said meeting by the following vote:
