A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ACCEPTING FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION THE EXTENSION OF
OAKWOOD PLACE WITHIN OAKWOOD PLACE SUBDIVISION, UNIT #2.
WHEREAS, subdivision improvements have been satisfactorily
completed in Oakwood Place Subdivision, Unit #2, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City of
Redding has recommended that the 250 foot extension of Oakwood
Place within said Oakwood Place Subdivision, Unit #2, be accepted
into the City street system at this time for maintenance and opera-
tion by the Citv, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered this recommenda-
tion and deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding
to approve same,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that pursuant to the authority provided in
Section 1806 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, the 250 foot extension of Oakwood Place within the
Oakwood Place Subdivision, Unit #2, is hereby accepted into the
City street system for maintenance and operation by the City.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 6t1h. day of December , 1976, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Anderson, Demsher, Gard, and Fulton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: i�one
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Pugh
