A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY ,,COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'REDDING ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A STORM DRAINAGE EASEMENT BETWEEN VALENTINE LANE AND THE SACRAMENTO RIVER. WHEREAS,.proceedings have been duly conducted and held in accordance with the provisions of the Public Service Easements Vacation Law, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding finds and determines that the hereinafter described real property is unnecessary for present or prospective public easement purposes or other public use, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding hereby resolves and orders as follows: 1. That certain storm drainage easement between Valentine Lane and the Sacramento River, which is described as: Commencing at a 6" x 6" concrete monument marking the south boundary line of the City of Redding, Shasta County, and designated as Engineer's Station 106+49.37 on that certain Map recorded in Book 5 of Land Surveys at page 36, in the Shasta County Recorder's Office, and running thence S. 14° 51'11" W., a distance of 26.40 feet; thence S. 33°38'02" W., a distance of 1360.83 feet; thence S. 56151'58" E. a distance of 655.00 feet; thence S. 33°38'02" W. a distance of 290.78 feet; thence S. 8°29'18" E. a distance of 10.00 feet to the true point of beginning of this description and running thence N. 81030'42" E. a distance of 115.00 feet more or less over and across that certain parcel of land described in a deed recorded in Book 289 of Official Records at page 186 in the Shasta County Recorder's Office, in an Easement document which was given to the County of Shasta in the year 1952, and shown in its actual location on the diagram which is attached hereto as "Exhibit A", be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned as a public utility easement. 2. That the City Clerk be and she is hereby authorized and directed to cause a certified copy of this Resolution, attested by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, to be recorded in the office of the Shasta County Recorder, Redding, California. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro- duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City ✓'� of Redding on the 6th day of December, 1976, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Anderson, Demsher, Gard, and Fulton NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Pugh LEE D.IFULTON, M.D. Mayor of the City of Redding AT EST: MILDRED L.
