A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF-REDDING DISSOLVING THE PORTION OF THE LIVE OAK LANE HIGHWAY LIGHTING DISTRICT WHICH IS LOCATED WITHIN THE CASCADE ANNEXATION AREA WHEREAS, the reorganization of the Cascade Community Services District by dissolution and annexation to the City of Redding was completed on June 23, 1976, and WHEREAS, Section 19270 of the Streets and Highways Code authorizes the dissolution of that portion of a highway lighting district which is located totally within an incorporated city by means of adoption of a resolution of dissolution by the legislative body of that city, and service of a certified copy thereof upon the State Board of Equalization and the County Assessors and WHEREAS, the Live Oak Lane highway lighting district is composed of two noncontiguous areas, one of which is located in the Cascade Annexation area, as depicted on "Exhibit A" attached hereto, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the portion of the Live Oak Lane highway light- ing district which is located within the Cascade Annexation area and which is now part of the City of Redding, as depicted on "Exhibit A" hereto, is hereby declared to be dissolved. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall file certified copies of this Resolution with the State Board of Equaliza- tion and with the County Assessor of Shasta County. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro- duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 15th day of November 1976, and :was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: NOES: COUNCILMEN: ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Anderson, Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton None None ATTEST: MI'LDRED L.
