HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1976-120 - Establishing a 70 foot yellow loading zone on Center Street at rear entrance to Angelo's Pizza Parlor in Foundry SquareRESOLUTION NO. 77�- / YD A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ESTABLISHING A 70 FOOT YELLOW LOADING ZONE ON CENTER STREET AT THE REAR ENTRANCE TO ANGELO'S PIZZA PARLOR IN FOUNDRY SQUARE WHEREAS, Section 18-37 of the Redding City Code, 1959, as amended, specifically provides that the City Council may designate loading zones by resolution, and WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission, in its memo- randum dated September 15, 1976, has recommended that a 70 foot yellow loading zone be established on Center Street at the rear entrance to Angelo's Pizza Parlor in Foundry Square to accommodate deliveries, and WHEREAS, the City Council has considered such recommendation and deems it iD be in the best interest of the City of Redding to adopt same, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: 1. That a 70 foot yellow loading zone is hereby established on Center Street at the rear entrance to Angelo's Pizza Parlor in Foundry Square. 2. That the Director of Public Works be and he is hereby authorized and directed to install appropriate signs and markings to accomplish the purpose of this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro- duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 4th day of October 1976, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Anderson AT 5T: MILD D L.
