A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
CONSENTING TO SHASTA COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS
RESOLUTION NO. 76-223, DECLARING SOUTH BONNYVIEW ROAD
FROM STATE ROUTE 273 TO THE SACRAMENTO RIVER A COUNTY
HIGHWAY.
WHEREAS, the County of Shasta plans to construct a
bridge across the Sacramento River on the extension of South
Bonnyview Road within the City of Redding, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1700 of the Streets and
Highways Code, the County Board of Supervisors by its Resolution
No. 76-223 has declared South Bonnyview Road from State Route 273
to the Sacramento River as a County highway for the purpose of
acquisition of right of way for construction and improvement
purposes, and
WHEREAS, Section 1701 of the Streets and Highways Code
requires that the City of Redding consent to such action by the
County Board of Supervisors,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that -the City Council of
the City of Redding does hereby consent to the adoption by the
Shasta County Board of Supervisors of their Resolution No. 76-223,
Declaring South Bonnyview Road from State Route 273 to the Sacramento
River a County Highway.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Redding on the 7th day of September , 1976, and was duly adopted
at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Anderson, Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
