HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1976-096 - Rescinding reso 74-101• RESOLUTION NO. 71- - • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING RESCINDING RESOLUTION NO. 74-101 WHICH DECLARED INTENTION TO BEGIN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT ON THE PINE STREET SCHOOL PROPERTY WHEREAS, Resolution No. 74-101 was adopted by the City Council on August 19, 1974, and recorded on November 5, 1974, in Volume 1247 O.R. at page 3, Shasta County Records, declaring Council's intention to begin legal proceedings of abatement under Chapter 15 of the Redding City Code on the Pine Street School property in the City of Redding, owned by A. K. Agajanian, and WHEREAS, the owner of said property has since corrected the unsafe and unsightly conditions which needed to be abated, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that Resolution No. 74-101 is hereby rescinded, and shall be of no further force and effect. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall record a copy of this Resolution in the office of the Shasta County Recorder. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on the 16th day of August , 1976, and was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote: AYES: COUNCILMEN: Anderson, Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton NOES: COUNCILMEN: None ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None ATTEST: MILDRED L.
