A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS IN THE
BUTTE STREET ALLEY BETWEEN ORANGE AVENUE AND OLIVE AVENUE
IN THE CITY OF REDDING.
WHEREAS, it appears from a declaration on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Redding that notice has
been given by mail and by posting as prescribed by Chapter 27 of
the Improvement Act of 1911 (Streets and Highways Code Sections
5870 et seq.), of the time and place where and when objections or
protests could be made to the complete construction and completion
of the Butte Street Alley between Orange Avenue and Olive Avenue,
in accordance with plans and specifications on file in the office
of the Superintendent of Streets, where not already constructed,
in the following described areas:
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-26, commonly known as 2327 Butte
Street;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-17, commonly known as 1534 Orange
Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-10, commonly known as 1544 Orange
Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-12, commonly known as 1552 Orange
Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-14, commonly known as 1600 Orange
Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-25, commonly known as 2339 Butte
Street;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-08, commonly known as 3945 Polaris
Way;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-11, commonly known as 1545 Olive
Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-22, commonly known as 1555 Olive
Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #105-220-09, commonly known as 1535 Olive
Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place set forth in said notices,
the City Council did conduct a public hearing and give an opportun-
ity to any property owner or other interested person to be heard and
ti
raise any objections or protests,

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding, as follows:
1. That any and all protests against the work to be
done are hereby overruled and denied.
2. That the City Council of the City of Redding hereby
directs that in the event the construction of the work described
in said notice is not commenced within sixty (60) days from the
date of mailing and posting of said notice, and thereafter dili-
gently and without interruption prosecuted to completion, that the
Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redding shall construct or
cause to be constructed said work.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 6th day of July , 1976, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
