RESOLUTION NO.
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ORDERING THE CONSTRUCTION OF CERTAIN IMPROVEMENTS ON
PORTIONS OF EASTER AVENUE IN THE CITY OF REDDING.
WHEREAS, it appears from a declaration on file in the
office of the City Clerk of the City of Redding that notice has
been given by mail and by posting as prescribed by Chapter 27 of
the Improvement Act of 1911 (Streets and Highways Code Sections
5870 et seq.), of the time and place where and when objections
or protests could be made to the construction and completion of
Portland Cement concrete curb and gutter, to the standard speci-
fications on file in the office of the Superintendent of Streets,.
where not already constructed, in the following described areas:
Assessor's Parcels 4106-471-01 and #106-471-33, commonly
known as 615 St. Marks Avenue, as it extends along Easter
Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #106-473-08, commonly known as 585
St. Marks Avenue, as it extends along Easter Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #106-473-12, commonly known as 4106
Notre Dame Avenue, as it backs on Easter Avenue;
Assessor's Parcel #106-4.73-22,.commonly known as 4114
Notre Dame Avenue, as it backs on Easter Avenue; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place set forth in said notices,
the City Council did conduct a public hearing and give an opportun-
ity to any property owner or other interested person to be heard
and raise any objections or protests,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding, as follows:
1. That any and all protests against the work to be
done are hereby overruled and denied.
2. That the City Council of the City of Redding hereby
directs that in the event the construction of the work described
in said notice is not commenced within sixty (60) days from the
date of mailing and posting of said notice, and thereafter dili-
gently and without interruption prosecuted to completion, that
the Superintendent of Streets of the City of Redding shall con-

struct or cause to be constructed said work.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 7th day of June , 1976, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Anderson
