A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
SETTING THE TAX RATE FOR THE FISCAL YEAR 1976-1977.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding has
considered and adopted a Budget for.the Fiscal Year 1976-1977,
and has determined that the established expenditures for the
operation of the City require collection of a tax in the following
amounts per each One Hundred Dollars ($100) of assessed valuation:
Purpose: Tax Rate:
General Government $ 1.13
Employee Retirement .79
$ 1.92
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding as follows, to wit:
1. That the foregoing recitals are true and correct.
2. That the tax rate for the City of Redding for the
Fiscal Year 1976-1977 shall be and is hereby set at the rate of
$1.92 for each $100 of assessed valuation, being $1.13 for General
Government and $ .79 for the Employee Retirement.
3. That the foregoing tax rate in the total amount of
$1.92 for each $100 of assessed valuation shall be the tax rate.
for the City of Redding for the Fiscal Year 1976-1977.
4. That the City Clerk shall file this Resolution with
the County Auditor of Shasta County by the third Monday in August.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 7th day of June , 1976, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:

NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Anderson
