A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ACCEPTING FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION A PORTION OF
SHASTA STREET WITHIN NOB HILL SUBDIVISION UNIT NO. 2.
WHEREAS, subdivision improvements have been satisfactorily
completed in Nob Hill Subdivision Unit No. 2, and
WHEREAS, the.Director of Public Works of the City of
Redding has recommended that a portion of Shasta Street approximate-
ly 400 feet west of Almond Avenue within said Nob Hill Subdivision
Unit No. 2 be accepted into the City street system at this time
for maintenance and operation by the City, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered this recommenda-
tion and deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding
to approve same,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that pursuant to the authority provided in
Section 1806 of the Streets and Highways Code of the State of
California, Shasta Street approximately 400 feet west of Almond
Avenue within the Nob Hill Subdivision Unit No. 2 is hereby ac-
cepted into the City street system for maintenance and operation
by the City.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was in-
troduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 3rd day of May , 1976, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Anderson
