A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
DETERMINING THAT NINETY PER CENT OF THE CITY'S PRESENT
SELECT SYSTEM OF STREETS ARE CONSTRUCTED AND DECLARING
INTENTION TO IMPROVE STREETS NOT NOW ON THE SELECT SYSTEM.
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Redding now
determines that ninety per cent of the City's present Select System
of Streets are now constructed, and
WHEREAS, the need is apparent for constructing other
streets which are not presently included in the Select System, and
WHEREAS, present laws governing new street construction
permit improvement of such streets with Gas Tax Funds under Section
2106 of the Streets and Highways Code, providing that ninety per
cent of the Select System is constructed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding to improve streets which are not now on the
Select System.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 3rd day of May , 1976, and was duly
adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: Anderson
