A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE GENERAL PLAN OF THE CITY OF REDDING BY ADOPTING GENERAL PLAN AMENDMENT GPA -2-75, AMENDING THE PLAN AS TO THAT AREA SOUTH OF HIGHWAY 299E, WEST OF THE BLUFFS EAST OF CHURN CREEK, NORTH OF HIGHWAY 44 AND EAST OF THE SACRAMENTO RIVER AND INTERSTATE 5. WHEREAS, following the required public hearings therefor, the Planning Commission of the City of Redding has recommended to the City Council that the Land Use Element, the Circulation Element and the Open Space and Conservation Element of the General Plan of the City of Redding be amended as to the property located south of Highway 299E, west of the Bluffs east of Churn Creek, north of Highway 44, and east of the Sacramento River and Interstate 5, the said property to be changed from "Greenway, steep slope, and creek bed", "Public or institutional", "Low density residential", "Medium density residential", "Medium high density residential", and "Highway Commercial", to "Greenway, steep slope, and creek bed", "Low density residential", "Medium density residential", "Medium high density residential", "Moderately high density residential", "Retail business and offices", "Park and golf course", and "High density residential", and WHEREAS, following the required notice and in accordance with law, the City Council has held a public hearing on said recom- mendation and has carefully considered the evidence at said hearing, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Redding does hereby amend the Land Use, Circulation, and Open Space and Conservation Elements of the General Plan of the City of Redding by incorporating therein the changes contained in the certain General Plan Amendment entitled GPA -2-75, amending the General Plan as to that area described above and shown on the attached "Exhibit A".
