A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING A JOINT USE AGREEMENT WITH PACIFIC GAS AND
ELECTRIC COMPANY COVERING ELECTRIC DISTRIBUTION FACILITIES
RELOCATED TO ACCOMMODATE THE CONSTRUCTION OF BELTLINE ROAD.
WHEREAS, on January 5, 1976, the City of Redding entered
into an Actual Cost Contract with Pacific Gas and Electric Company
covering the relocation of P.G. & E.'s electric distribution
facilities to accommodate the construction of Beltline Road, and
WHEREAS, said electric distribution facilities have now
been relocated within the City's street right of way, and
WHEREAS, the City of Redding is desirous of entering
into a Joint Use Agreement with P.G. & E. covering said distribu-
tion facilities, and
WHEREAS, such an Agreement has been prepared and signed
by P.G. & E., and submitted to the City for execution,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Redding that said Joint Use Agreement dated the 6th
day of February, 1976, is hereby approved, and the Mayor of the
City of Redding is hereby authorized and directed to execute said
Joint Use Agreement on behalf of the City Council of the City of
Redding.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of
the City of Redding on the 15th day of March , 1976, and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Anderson, Demsher, Gard, Pugh, and Fulton
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
ABSENT: COUNCILMEN: None
