Shasta MallC, (t4.'� RESOLUTION NO./ A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ORDERING THE INSTALLATION OF "STOP" SIGNS AT EACH OF THE UNSIGNALIZED DRIVEWAY EXITS FROM THE MT. SHASTA MALL. WHEREAS, Section 18-8 of the Redding City Code, 1959, as amended, specifically provides that the City Council may desig- nate by resolution the places where special stops are required, and WHEREAS, Section 21360 of the California Vehicle Code provides that the City Council may place and maintain official traffic control devices at the intersection of a private road or driveway with the consent..of the owner, and WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission, in its letter dated February 23, 1976, has recommended that the City Council authorize the installation of "Stop" signs at each of the unsignalized driveway exits from the Mt. Shasta Mall, and WHEREAS, consent has been received from the owners of the Mt. Shasta Mall property for the installation of such "Stop" signs, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that the installation of "Stop" signs at each of the unsignalized driveway exits from the Mt. Shasta Mall is hereby authorized and approved, and no person shall hereafter operate a motor•'vehicle­'tontrary to said signs.
