A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
WAIVING THE REQUIREMENT OF A PARCEL MAP FOR LOT SPLIT
APPLICATION NO. LS -74-84.
WHEREAS, at its regular meeting of November 14, 1984, the
Board of Administrative Review recommended approval of Lot Split
Application No. LS -74-84, requesting merger of three parcels on
the property located at 3600 through 3800 Placer Street, in a
"R-1" Single Family Residential District, as applied for by CVR
Trust; and
WHEREAS, attached hereto is a diagram marked Exhibit "A"
depicting the location of the parcels involved and the proposed
lot line adjustment; and
WHEREAS, Government Code §66412(d) provides that the Subdi-
vision Map Act shall not apply to certain types of lot line
adjustments where such adjustments are approved by resolution of
the City Council; and
WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of staff that the City
Council approve Lot Split Application No. LS -74-84 and waive the
application of the Subdivision Map Act by resolution; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is categor-
ically exempt from the provisions of CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redding does hereby approve Lot Split Application No.
LS -74-84 and waives further compliance with the Subdivision Map
Act in connection with said lot split, it being the express
finding of this City Council that this is merely a lot line
adjustment between two or more adjacent parcels, and where a
greater number of parcels than originally existed is not thereby
created.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk shall cause a
copy of this resolution to be recorded in the Office of the
Shasta County Recorder.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 17th day of December , 1984, and
was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
