A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING RESOLUTION NOS. 83-164 AND 83-245 BY MODIFYING THE
SCHEDULE OF SALARIES FOR OFFICERS AND EXEMPT EMPLOYEES AND
THE EMPLOYEE CLASSIFICATION SCHEDULE AND SALARY PLAN ESTA-
BLISHED BY SAID RESOLUTION.
WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the current Schedule
of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees and the Employee
Classification Schedule and Salary Plan as previously established
by Resolution No. 83-164 and 83-245; and
WHEREAS, staff has recommended amendments to City policies
pertaining to employee classifications and salaries as indicated
in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and made a part hereof; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it to be in the best inter-
ests of the City of Redding to revise said salary plan;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding as follows:
1. That Resolution Nos. 83-164 and 83-245 are hereby
amended by modifying the Schedule of Salaries for Officers and
Exempt Employees and Employee Classification Schedule and Salary
Plan as set forth in Exhibit "A" attached hereto and incorporated
herein.
2. That all other portions of Resolution Nos. 83-164 and
83-245 will remain in full force and effect.
3. That this resolution shall be effective on November 18,
1984.
