A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
ACCEPTING FOR MAINTENANCE AND OPERATION A PORTION OF CHURN
CREEK ROAD IN THE SHASTA CENTER DEVELOPMENT.
WHEREAS, improvements have been satisfactorily completed in
the Shasta Center Development; and
WHEREAS, the Director of Public Works of the City of Redding
has recommended that a portion of Churn Creek Road in said
development be accepted into the City street system now for
maintenance and operation by the City; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has considered this recommendation
and deems it to be in the best interests of the City of Redding
to approve same;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that, pursuant to the authority provided in
Section 1806 of the California Streets and Highways Code, a
portion of Churn Creek Road from Mistletoe northerly 1,350 feet
to the private road along Mervyn's in the Shasta Center Develop-
ment, is hereby accepted into the City street system for mainte-
nance and operation by the City.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 19th day of November , 1984, and
