A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP BY ESTABLISHING TWO-HOUR
PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF PARKVIEW AVENUE, EAST OF AKARD
AVENUE AND, FURTHER, THAT SAID PARKING BE UNMETERED.
WHEREAS, parking zones in -the City of Redding are specified
and depicted on the Traffic Control Map adopted by §11.04.020 of
the Redding Municipal Code and said section specifically provides
that the City Council may amend said Traffic Control Map from
time to time by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission has recommended
that two-hour unmetered parking be approved on the north side of
Parkview Avenue, east of Akard Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the City, Council deems it to be in the best
interests of the City of Redding to adopt such recommendation;
and
WHEREAS, 'it has been, determined- "that = this matter is
categorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE' IT RESOLVED by the'City Council of the
City of Redding that''.the Traffic .Control Map, adopted by
§11.04.020 of the Redding Municipal Code, is hereby amended by
the establishment of two-hour parking, as governed by §11.24.180
of the Redding Municipal Code, on the north side of Parkview
Avenue for a distance of two hundred feet (200') one hundred
twenty-five feet (1251) east of the easterly right of way line of
Akard Avenue and, further, that said parking be unmetered.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Director of Public Works
shall cause the installment of signs to give notice of the
two-hour parking limitation.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 20.th day of December 1982, and
was duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
AYES: COUNCILMEN: Demsher, Fulton, Pugh, and Gard
NOES: COUNCILMEN: None
