A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
APPROVING AND CONFIRMING REPORT AND ACCOUNT OF THE COST
OF ABATEMENT OF UNSAFE BUILDINGS AND DEBRIS ON THE
MID -CENTRAL CALIFORNIA, INC. PROPERTY, 1709 MILO AVENUE.
WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal of the.City of Redding has sub-
mitted to the City Council for confirmation a report and account
of the cost of abatement of unsafe buildings and debris on
property owned by Mid -Central California, Inc., being Parcel No.
104-443-2, located at 1709 Milo Avenue , Redding, California, and
more particularly described as follows:
All that portion of Lot 1 of Block "Q" of Boardman
Addition to the City of Redding recorded in the
office of the County Recorder, August 30, 1901 in
Book 1 of Maps at page 57, Shasta County Records,
described as follows:
Beginning at the Northeast corner of said Lot 1
and running Westerly along the North line of said
Lot 1, which is also the South line of Milo Avenue,
65.00 feet; thence at right angles 50.00 feet to
the South line of said Lot 1; thence Easterly
along the South line of said Lot 1 a distance of
65.00 feet to the WEst line of Railroad Avenue;
thence Northerly and along the East line of said
Lot 1, and the West line of Railroad Avenue 50.00
feet to the point of beginning.
WHEREAS, the demolition and removal work done on -said
property, for which said costs were incurred, was done pursuant
to the provisions of the City Code, and the owner"of the subject
property was notified in advance of all proceedings herein as
provided for in said Code, and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is Cate -

gorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Redding does hereby approve and confirm the report and
account of the cost of demolition and removal of unsafe buildings
and debris on the subject property. These costs shall constitute
a lien on said property and shall be collected in the manner of
ordinary taxes by the Tax Collector of the County of Shasta,
acting for the City of Redding. The City Clerk of the City of
Redding is directed to send a copy of this Resolution and the
report of the Fire Marshal herein to the County Auditor of Shasta
County for that purpose.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro-
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of Redding on the 15th day of November 1982, and was
duly adopted at said meeting by the following vote:
