A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING APPROVING AND CONFIRMING REPORT AND ACCOUNT OF THE COST OF ABATEMENT OF UNSAFE BUILDINGS AND DEBRIS ON THE OVERMAN PROPERTY , 819 West Street. WHEREAS , the Fire Marshal of the City of Redding has sub- mitted to the City Council for confirmation a report and account of the cost of abatement of unsafe buildings and debris on pro- perty owned by Larry D. Overman, being Parcel No. 103-130-31 , located at 819 West Street, Redding , California , and more parti- cularly described as follows : The northerly 50 . 00 feet of Lot 3 , Block D, as shown on Schearer ' s Addition to Redding , filed January 25 , 1387 , in Book of Old Plats , Page 49, Shasta County Records, described as follows : Beginning at the most northerly corner of Lot 3; thence, southeasterly along the northeasterly boun- dary of Lot 3 a distance of 50 . 00 feet; thence at right angles 150 . 00 feet to a point on the southwesr,_- terly boundary of Lot 3; thence northwesterly 50 . 00 feet to the most westerly corner of Lot 3; thence along the northwesterly boundary of Lot 3 a distance of 150 . 00 feet to the point of beginning . WHEREAS , the demolition and removal work done on said property , for which said costs were incurred, was done pursuant to the provisions of the City Code, and the owner of the subject property was notified in advance of all proceedings herein as provided for in said Code, and WHEREAS , it has been determined that this matter is cate- gorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA, pg NOW, THEREFORE , BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the Cityof Reddingdoes herebyapprove and confirm the report and }� 1- account of the cost of demolition and removal of unsafe buildings and debris on the subject property. These costs shall constitute a lien on said property and shall be collected in the manner of ordinary taxes by the Tax Collector of the County of Shasta , acting for the City of Redding. The City Clerk of the City of Redding is directed to send a copy of this Resolution and the . , report of the Fire Marshal herein to the County Auditor of Shasta County for that purpose.
