Recommendation Approve Mayor's recommendation to make the following appointments and reappointments to the City of Redding Community Development Advisory Committee: (1) Appoint John Carelli to fill an unscheduled vacancy with a term ending November 30, 2025; (2) Appoint Nicole Dues to fill a scheduled vacancy with a term ending November 30, 2026; (3) Reappoint Blake Fisher to serve a fu11-term ending November 30, 2026; and (4) Reappoint Roxanne Burke to serve a full-term ending November 30, 2026. Fiscal Impact There is no impact to the General Fund. Alte�native Action The City Council could choose not to approve the Mayor's recommendation and provide staff with alternative direction. BackgNound/Analysis Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) Member Laural Park resigned on October 4, 2023. In accordance with the Maddy Act, a notice declaring the unscheduled vacancy was posted on the City of Redding's website and on the public display board located at City Hall. John Carelli has submitted an application, and if approved, his term will begin December 1, 2023, and end November 30, 2025. CDAC Committee Member Kelsi Halvarson served two full-terms and has, therefore, reached term limits. Nicole Dues has submitted an application, and if approved, her term will begin December 1, 2023, and end November 30, 2026. If approved, their first full terms will begin December 1, 2023, and end November 30, 2026. Environmental Review This is not a project defined under the California Environmental Quality Act, and no further action is required.
