HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1981 - 130 - Repealing reso 80-143, and adopting new schedule of salaries for officers and exempt employeesV ^ • 1' RESOLUTION NO.�'/J v A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF.REDDING REPEALING RESOLUTION, NO. 80-143, AND ADOPTING A NEW SCHEDULE OF SALARIES FOR OFFICERS AND EXEMPT EMPLOYEES. WHEREAS, the City Council has studied the••current Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees as previously estab- lished by Resolution No. 78-159 and amended by Resolutions No. 80-23 and No. 80-143, and WHEREAS, the City Council deems, it to be in the best inter- ests of the City of Redding to adopt at this time a;•new'Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees, and WHEREAS, Resolutions No. 78-159 and No. 80-23 have been, repealed., effective July 5, 1981,. NOW, THEREFORE,,BE IT RESOLVED.by the City Council of the City of Redding as,follows: 1. Resolution No. 80-143 is now repealed and shall be of no further force and effect from and including July 5, 1981. 2. The Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees which is attached hereto as Exhibit A is hereby adopted as the Schedule of Salaries for Officers and Exempt Employees of the City of Redding, effective July 5, 1981. Appointments to any • office or exempt position during the term of this Resolution will be at a salary rate to be established by the City Manager at the time of appointment., but in any event not in an amount higher than that salary established by this Resolution. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro- duced and read -at an adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of Redding on June 29, 1981;, and was duly adopted �. �.�.+_"- - - • is .
