' .. �� :: — RESOLUTION NO. ,K�� 'J A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF P.EDDING OF INTENTION TO BEGIN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT UNDER CHAPTER 9.36 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL YROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING. Lucido, 2641 Oxford Road) . � WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 9. 36, of the Redding M.unicipal Code provide that all buildings or structures which are • � � , � structurally unsafe', or are dilapidated from old age, neglect, de- cay or other. causes within the City of Redding, which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life, or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a nuisance by • the City Council of the City of Redding and thereafter abated as provided therein, and ` WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal ' has made an inspection of the building located on real property as hereinafter described, and has declared it to .be unsafe and/or a hazard to safety, health and public welfare, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is cate- gorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of � the City of Redding, as follows : That it is the intention of this City Council to begin legal proceedincjs of abatement under Chapter 9.36 of the Redding Municipal Code on the following described property: . Lot 15, in Block 2 , as shown on the map of Country Club Subdivision, recorded in the office of the County Recorder . November 4 , 1940, in Book 6 of Maps, at paqe 11, Shasta County Records. \ � � � " -1- la ,��= .. - . - � • L� _ ry-. , � . . . ��� � .. , BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said building mentioned here- inabove is. hereby declared to be a public nuisance as provided by Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code, and is hereby ordered . to be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition, or removal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Marshal and the Board of Appeals of the City of Redding are hereby directed to. take all proceedings provided in Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the County Recorder of Shasta County for recordation.
