Enterprises, Inc., 3088 Churn Creek Road and 3115 School StreetRESOLUTION NO.� 0 A RESOLUTION OF THE.CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING OF INTENTION TO BEGIN .LEGAL PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT UNDER CHAPTER 9.36 OF -THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING. (Owned by Western States Financial Corporation and P.S.S. Enterprises, Inc., 3088 Churn Creek Road and 3115 School Street). WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter�9.36 of the Redding Municipal Code proyide'that'all.buildings or,structures which are structurally unsafe, or are dilapidated from old age, neglect, de- cay or other causes,within'the City of Redding, which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life, or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a nuisance by the City Council of the City of Redding and thereafter abated as provided therein, and WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal has made an inspection of the buildings located on real property as hereinafter described, and has declared them to be unsafe and/or a hazard to safety, health and public welfare, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is cate- gorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding, as follows: That it is the intention of this City Council to begin legal proceedings of abatement under Chapter 9.36 of the Redding Municipal Code on the following described property: Lot 2 of Enterprise Subdivision, as per map thereof filed for record May 11, 1939, in Book 5 of Maps, at page 54, Shasta County Records. i O -1- e r� u BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said buildings mentioned hereinabove are hereby declared to be a public nuisance as pro- vided by Chapter 9.36 of the Redding Municipal Code, and are hereby ordered to be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition, or removal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Marshal and the Board of Appeals of the City of Redding are hereby directed to take all proceedings provided in Chapter 9.36 of the Redding Municipal Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and she is hereby authorized and directed to forward a certified copy of this Resolution to the County Recorder of Shasta County for recordation.
