Vista Subdvision) to the City of ReddingE i RESOLUTION NO. � -LO A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ORDERING TETE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN INHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED ANNEXATION NO. 80-10 (MT. VISTA SUBDIVISION) TO THE CITY OF REDDING. WHEREAS, on the 17th day of February, 1981, the City Council of the City of Redding adopted Resolution No. 81-28, initiating proceedings for annexation to the City of certain inhabited territory designated Annexation No. 80-10, said resolu- tion describing the boundaries of the territory proposed to be annexed, and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Shasta County, did in session duly assembled on November 12, 1980, consider and approve the proposed annexation, and WHEREAS, said Resolution No. 80-10 did contain a notice of the day, hour and place where and when the City Council would hear protests by any person owning real property within the territory proposed to be annexed, the time of said hearing being not less than 40 days nor more than 60 days from date of passage of said Resolution, and WHEREAS, on April 6, 1981, at the hour of 7:30 P.M. in the Council Chambers at 1313 California Street, Redding, Shasta County, California, said time and place being those fixed in said Resolution, the City Council did hear and pass upon all protests to said annexation and did determine by resolution adopted at close of such hearing that protests had -not been made by 25% of the registered voters within the territory nor by owners of 25% of the land within the territory, and -1- WHEREAS, said territory is contiguous to the City of Redding, and is inhabited territory in the County of Shasta, and WHEREAS, owners of more than 25% of the real property and improvements situated in said annexation by area and by assessed valuation as shown on the last equal- ized assessment roll of the County of Shasta, have consented in writing to the taxing of property within said territory to pay indebtedness and liability of said City of Redding contracted, incurred and authorized prior to and existing at the time said territory is annexed, NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding does resolve as follows: 1. The City Council makes the following findings in connection herewith: (a) The project is compatible with the Redding General Plan, (b) The project will not significantly alter existing land form, (c) The project is compatible with surrounding land use, and (d) The project is compatible with the Code of the City of Redding, and ratifies the Negative Declaration approved by the Board of Administrative Review on October 15, 1980. 2. Based upon said findings, the annexation of the territory hereinafter described to the City of Redding is hereby approved, and said territory be and is hereby annexed to the City of Redding. 3. That said territory, the annexation of which "to the.City'of Redding is hereby approved, is all the terri- tory situate in the County -of Shasta, State of California, more particularly described in'"Exhibit A", attached hereto and incorporated herein. 4. That the.City Clerk of the'City of Redding shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and transmit a certified copy hereof along with appropriate fees to the Executive Officer of LAFCO.
