CFFICiAl R2C0006 9MASTA COU ,CALIF 760 Parkview Ave. Redding, CA' 96001 DEC 22 1987 RESOLUTION NO. 37-x7 Q/ RECORDER FEE$ .A �' FEE h% A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT OF A PORTION OF UNDEVELOPED STREET RIGHT-OF-WAY AND PARKLAND DEDICATED TO THE CITY , LOCATED ADJACENT TO THE LOT LOCATED AT 710 SUNRIVER LANE AT THE EXTREME NORTH END OF THE SUNSET WEST SUBDIVISION (A-9-87 ) . WHEREAS , proceedings have been duly conducted and held in accordance with the provisions of the Public Streets , Highways and Service Easements Vacation Law, Streets and Highways Code § 8300 , et seq. ; and WHEREAS , the City Council of the City of Redding finds and determines that, subject to the condition contained in paragraph 2 hereof, the hereinafter described real property is not necessary for present or prospective street right-of-way or parkland purposes; NOW, THEREFORE , the City Council of the City of Redding hereby resolves and orders as follows : 1 . That the City Council makes the following findings in connection herewith: (a) The project is compatible with the Redding General Plan; (b) The project will not significantly alter the existing land form; (c) The project is compatible with the surrounding land use; and (d) The project is compatible with the Redding Municipal Code . 2 . That that certain real property in the City of Redding, County of Shasta , State of California , being a portion of undeveloped street right-of-way and parkland dedicated to the City, located adjacent to the lot located at 710 Sunriver Lane at the extreme north end of the Sunset West Subdivision , as the same BOOK236GPLGE 302 is more particularly described in Exhibit "A" and as illustrated in the map attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference , be and the same is hereby vacated and abandoned as a street right-of-way and parkland, subject to the following condition: Any house proposed for the property located at 710 Sunriver Lane will require a use permit due to the increased front- yard setback. 3 . That the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is directed to record a certified copy of this Resolution, attested to by the City Clerk under the seal of the City of Redding, in the office of the Shasta County Recorder .
