OFfiC1AlR 9MABTACQ ,�j/���� 760 Parkview Ave. ����� Redding, CA. 96001 �OV 17 �987 e `+Y e'L��K" R�SOLUTION NO. ��' ��,� AECOROE!��R"FEE�.!�::'"�! _ � .C:� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING OF INTENTION TO BEGIN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT UNDER CHAPTER 9 . 36 OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTIES LOCATED AT 935 AND 943 TWIN VIEW BOULEVARD, IN THE CITY OF REDDING (OWNED BY ERNEST R. MEISSNER AND CRAIG C. KINSLING) . WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code provide that all buildings or structures located within the City of Redding which are structurally unsafe or are dilapidated from old age, neglect, decay or other causes which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a nuisance by the City Council of the City of Redding and there- after abated as provided therein; and WHEREAS , the Building Official of the City of Redding has made an inspection of the buildings located on real properties as hereinafter described and has declared them to be unsafe and/or hazards to safety, health, and public welfare; and WHEREAS , it has been determined that this matter is categor- ically exempt from the provisions of CEQA; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding that it is the intention of this City Council to begin legal proceedings of abatement under Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code on the properties described in Exhibits "A" and "B" attached hereto and made a part hereof. � BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said buildings mentioned herein- � 1 above are hereby declared to be public nuisances as provided by � U.► eoox 2359PA�� 475 � � . , • • , , ' Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code and are hereby ordered to be abated by repair, rehabilitation, demolition or removal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Marshal and the Board of Appeals of the City of Redding are hereby directed to take all proceedings provided in Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City of Redding be and hereby is authorized and directed to forward a certified copy o.f this Resolution to the Shasta County Recorder for recordation.
