RESOLUTION [10. �/�� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING ORDERING THE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "E[dTERPRISE ANNEX N0. 79-7" TO CITY OI' REDDING. PIHEREAS , on or about the 30th day of April , 1979 , the City Clerk of the City of Reddiny did receive an informal oetition for annexation from the owners of certain uninhabited territory hereinafter designated as "Enterprise Annex tdo. 79-7" , requesting the commencement of annexation proceedings and the submission of a formal apolication to the Local Agency Formation Commission of Shasta County for the approval of the proposed annexation, and the assistance of City staff in the preparation of the said application to the Local Agency Formation Commission, and WHEREAS , on June 19 , 1979 , all the said owners of certain uninhabited territory desiynated "Enterprise Annex No. 79-7" , more particularly described on "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference , did submit a formal r.equest to the Local Agency Formation Commission for approval to commence annexation proceedings , including a statement that the property in the territory proposed for annexation will be subjected to taxation after annexation equally with property within the City of Redding to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City of Redding outstandiny or authorized at the effective date of the annexation, for the acquisition, construction or completion of municipal improve- ments, and including a request that the protest heariny be � waived, and '^� �.:. � (? � -1- � � . � � . wHEREAS , the Local Agency Formation Commission of Shasta County did, in session duly assembled on July 18 , 1979 , consider and approve the proposed annexation of said "Enterprise Annex vo. 79-7" , as more particularly described in "Exhibit A" attached hereto, and did authorize the legis- lative body of the City of Redding to annex such territory without notice and hearing by the legislative body, and WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Reddiny and is uriinhabited territory in the County of Shasta , and �� ' J , . , ' ; :,PIHEREAS , ,the owners of all the real property and F improvements situated in "Enterprise Annex I�o. 79-7" have . �' consented in writing .to the taxing of property within said £erritory to` pay. indebtedness and liability of said City of Redding, contracted, incurred and authorized prior to and existing at the time said territory is annexed, and WHEREAS , the City Council has reviewed the Negative Declaration prepared in connection herewith and hereby finds that no significant ef£ect on the environment is created hereby, NOw, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Redding does resolve as follows : 1. That the annexation of the territory more particularly described in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incoroorated herein, to the City of Redding, is hereby ordered and said territory is hereby annexed to the City of Redding. -2- � � � . 2 . That the City Clerk of the City of Redding shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and transmit a certified copy hereof, along with appropriate fees , to the Executive Officer of LAFCO.
