RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS
CHESTNUT STREET ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1979-1
The City Council of the City of Redding resolves :
On - .July 16 , 1979, the City Council opened
a public hearing on the resolution of intention and the engineer' s
report on the proposed improvement in Chestnut Street Assessment
District No. 1979-1. .
At or before the time set for hearing, certain interested
persons made protests or objections to the proposed improvement, the
extent of the assessment district or the proposed assessment.
The City Council hereby overrules each o£ these protests,
written or oral.
The City Council finds that the protest aqainst the proposed
improvement (including all written protests not withdrawn in writinq
before the conclusion of the protest hearing) is made by the owners
of less than one-half of the area of the land to be assessed for the
improvement.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and
regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Redding, Shasta
County, California, at a regular meeting thereof , held on the 16th ,
day of July, 1979, by the following vote , to wit:
aYEs: Councilmembers Gard, Kirkpatrick, Pugh, and Fulton
NOES : Councilmembers None
ABSENT: Councilmembers Demsher
