HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1979-101 Establishing an Amended Uniform Maximum Rate Schedule for the Operation of Ambulances in the City of Redding , � � � RESOLUTION N0. 7�-/D� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDZNG ESTABLISHING AN AMENDED UNIFORM MAXIMUM RATE SCHEDULE FOR THE OPERATION OF AA4BULANCES IN THE CITY OF REDDING. 69HEREAS , Section 6. 08. 150 of the Redding Municipal Code provides for the review and establishment of uniform maximum rates or schedule of charges which may be charged by ambulance operators within the City of Redding, and. WHEREAS , the existing rate schedule was adopted on July 17 , 1978 , by Resolution No. 78-122 , and WHEREAS , the City-County Ambulance Committee has reviewed the rate schedules of the ambulances licensed to operate in the City and in the County of Shasta and has recommended an increase in ambulance rates effective July 1 , 1979 , in accordance with the proposed amended schedule attached hereto as "Exhibit A" , and in- corporated herein by reference, and WHEREAS, this Council has considered the recommendations of the Ambulance Committee, and believes that the recommendations are in the best interests of the City and its citizens , and WHEREAS , it has been determined that this matter is not ,- . „ subject to the provisions of CSQA, � .' NOW, THEREFORE , ��BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows : 1. That Resolution� No. �78-T2i2 'i`s hereby repealed and rescinded. 2. That "Exhibit A" attached hereto is hereby estab- lished as the schedule of charges which may hereafter be made in -- _ � . . �, Rescinded by Resolution No. 80-146 .
