'�_,.r� A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDIDIG ORDERZNG TFiE ANNEXATION OF CERTAIN UNINHABITED TERRITORY DESIGNATED "ENTERPRISE AtdNEX N0. 79-6" TO CITY OF REDDING. WHEREAS, on or about the 14th day of February, 1979 , the City Clerk of the City of Redding did receive an informal petition for annexation from the owners of certain uninhabited territory hereinafter designated as "Enterprise Annex No. 79-6" , requesting the commencement of annexation proceedings and the submission of a formal application to the Local Agency Formation Commission of Shasta County for the approval of the proposed annexation , and the assistance of City staff in the preparation of the said application to the Local Agency Formation Commission, and WHEREAS, on April 18 , 1979 , all the said owners of certain uninhabited territory designated "Enterprise Annex �o . 79-6" , more particularly described on "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorpor- ated herein by reference, did submit a formal request to the Local Agency Formation Commission for approval to commence annexation proceedings, including a statement that the property in the territory proposed for annexation will be subjected to taxation after annexa- tion equally with property within the City of Redding to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City of Redding outstandinq or auth- orized at the effective date of the annexation, for the acquisition , construction or completion of municipal improvements, and including a request that the protest hearing be waived, and WHEREAS, the Local Agency Formation Commission of Shasta County did, in session duly assembled on May 23 , 1979 , consider and approve the proposed annexation of said "Enterprise Annex No. -{.` 79-6" , as more particularly described in "Exhibit A" attached � � i � � -1- � . � � . � � hereto, and did authorize the legislative body of the City of Redding to annex such territory without notice and hearing by the legislative body, and WHEREAS , said territory is contiguous to the City of Redding and is uninhabited territory in the County of Shasta, and WHEREAS, the owners of all the real property and improve- ments situated in "Enterprise Annex No . 79-6" have consented in writing to the taxing of property within said territory to pay indebtedness and liability of said City of Redding , contracted, incurred and authorized prior to and existing at the time said territory is annexed, and WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed the Negative Declaration prepared in connection herewith and has determined that no significant effect on the environment is created hereby. � NOW, THEREFORE , the City Council of the City of Redding does resolve as follows: 1. That the annexation of the territory more particularly described in "Exhibit A" attached hereto and incorporated herein, to the City of Redding, is hereby ordered and said territory is hereby annexed to the City of Redding. 2 . That the City Clerk of the City of Redding shall certify to the adoption of this Resolution and transmit a certified copy hereof, along with appropriate fees , to the Executive Officer of LAFCO.
