BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding as follows: • ' 1. That, pursuant to the provisions of the Municipal' • Organization. Act of 1977 , a 'petition, for annexation, signed by 'owners of more than five percent (5%) of the land in' the • hereinafter described territory, by area and by assessed . • :value as shown on the last equalized assessment roll of ,the . County of Shasta, was. filed with the City Council of the City of Redding on September 15,1980 . • 2.. That the territory which the petitioners request be, annexed to the City 'of Redding and which said • City and its Council propose to annex, is uninhabited territory situate in the County of Shasta;. M. , described as follows: Commencing at the W. 1/4 corner of Section 19, T. 32 N. , R. 4 W. , M. D. M. , as shown on the map recorded May 13, 1976, in Book 8 of Parcel Maps, at page 121 , Shasta County Records; thence along the City of Redding boundary line and along the east-west midsection line of said Section 19, N. 89°06'20" E. , 500.00 feet to the northeast corner of the parcel conveyed to Henry V. SEPT /98D III EXHIBIT "C" PLAN FOR PROVIDING SERVICES AS REQUESTED BY SECTION 35102 OF THE GOVERNMENT CODE Upon annexation, the following services will be available to the subject area: Water, sewer, solid-waste collection, police protection, fire protection, and maintenance of public streets. These services will be provided in the same manner in which they are provided to all parcels within the City of Redding. In addition, electric-utility services will be acquired from the Pacific Gas and Electric Company by the City. It is not anticipated that sewer service will be extended outside the estab- lished sewer-service-area boundary of the Redding Regional Wastewater • Treatment Plant.
