APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF• AN' AGREEMENT WITH
SOUTHERN PACIFIC PROVIDING FOR CONSTRUCTION 'OF SOUTH .'
BONNYVIEW TRUNK SEWER LINE BENEATH TRACKS ••NEAR,.GIRVAN..
WHEREAS, Southern Pacific Transportation Company has
submitted .for approval and execution by the .City an Agreement:. .
which provides for construction by . the City of its. South. Bonny-•
view trunk sewer line beneath the tracks and property of. Southern
Pacific at Engineer' s Station 3832+87, Mile Post 2549 ,-•.near
Girvan Road, and
WHEREAS,,_, it appears to be in the best interests.. of •the
r'
City and its citiz'ens that said Agreement. be approved and executed,
'NOW,;, THEREFORE,: BE ,IT RESOLVED that..the 'Ci•ty, Council of ' . •
:. the City of Redding hereby approves the Agreement .with Southern
Pacific Transportation Company, dated June 25, 1980, providing for
construction of City' s South Bonnyview trunk sewer line beneath
tracks and property of Southern Pacific at Engineer' s Station
3832+87 , Mile Post 254 . 49 ; near Girvan Road, and authorizes, the
Mayor to execute said Agreement on behalf of the +City of Redding.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution :wa•s
introduced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of •
