RESOLUTION NO. ASO— /4/
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDDING
AMENDING THE TRAFFIC CONTROL MAP BY ESTABLISHING A
"YIELD" SIGN ON PARKVIEW AVENUE AT PARK MARINA DRIVE.

WHEREAS, yield intersections are defined by Section
11. 04. 095 and are illustrated on the Traffic Control Map adopted.
• by Section ::11. 04. 020 of the Redding Municipal Code, • and Section
11.04. 020 specifically provides that the City Council may amend
said Traffic Control Map from time to time' by resolution, and
WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission, in. its
letter dated June 11, 1980, has recommended that the City Council
authorize the installation of a "Yield" sign against northbound
• vehicles on Parkview Avenue turning right onto Park Marina Drive,
and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it in the best interests
of-the City and its citizens to adopt such recommendation,- and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is cate-

gorically exempt from the provisions of CEQA,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Redding that the Traffic Control Map adopted by Section
11. 04. 020 of the Redding Municipal Code is hereby amended by the
•
installation of a "Yield" sign against northbound vehicles on
Parkview Avenue turning right onto Park Marina .Drive, and no person
shall hereafter operate a motor vehicle contrary to said sign.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was intro- •
duced and read at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City
of Redding on the 16th day of June , 1980, and was duly adopted at
said meeting by the following vote:
