IFF71 • • RESOLUTION NO. g -/35 • A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY .OF REDDING PROHIBITING PARKING AT ALL TIMES ON BOTH SIDES OF QUARTZ HILL ROAD 'BETWEEN BENTON DRIVE AND MARKET STREET AND ON • BOTH SIDES OF DEL MAR AVENUE BETWEEN CORONADO AND DELTA STREETS. • • WHEREAS, Section 11.24 .040 of the Redding, Municipal Code . specifically provides that the City Council may designate by reso- lution additional areas unsuitable, dangerous or inconvenient for • . parking purposes, and . WHEREAS, the Traffic and Parking Commission, in its -:memo= randum dated June 11, 1980, has recommended that -parking be pro- • • hibited at all times on both sides of Quartz Hill Road between Benton Drive and Market Street and on-both sides of Del Mar Avenue • between Coronado and Delta :Streets, and WHEREAS, the City _Council has- considered' such recommenda- . • tion and deems it in the best. interests of the City, to adopt -same, and - WHEREAS,' it .has been determined that this matter is. cate- . gorically exempt from the provisions of. CEQA, . NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City' of Redding as follows : 1. That parking is prohibited at all times on both- ''sides of Quartz Hill Road between Benton Drive and Market Street and on both sides' of Del- Mar Avenue between Coronado and Delta Streets. 2.
