Keller) . .' - � - 4_ � � � �• . . �� . . • . . ti. . . . , - , , t . . , -, RESOLUTION N0, 7%-,� � . ,� A RESOLUTION,OF THE CITY COUNCZL OF THE CITY OF REDDING OF INTENTION TO BEGIN LEGAL PROCEEDINGS OF ABATEMENT �UNDER`'CHAPTER, 9: 36 OF- THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE ON CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING. (Owned by Stephen R. Keller, 1800 Eugenia Avenue) . WHEREAS, the provisions of Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding Municipal Code provide that all buildings or structures which are structurally unsafe, or are dilapidated from old age , neglect, decay or other causes within the City of Redding, which constitute a fire menace or are dangerous to human life , or a likely resort for vagrant or dissolute persons, may be declared a nuisance by the City Council of the City of Redding and thereafter abated as provided therein, and WHEREAS, the Fire Marshal has made an inspection of the building located on real property as hereinafter described, and has declared it to be unsafe and/or a hazard to safety , health and public welfare, and WHEREAS, it has been determined that this matter is cate- gorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Redding, as follows : That it is the intention of this, City Council to begin legal proceedings of abatement under Chapter 9, 36 of the Redding Municipal Code on the following described property: Lot 9 , and the easterly 2. 00 feet of Lot 10 , Block T, as shown on the map of Boardman' s Addition to Redding, filed `� in the office of the County Recorder August 30 , 1901 , in � Book 1 of Maps, at page 57 , Shasta County Records. � \y �) 1)` W -1 ,�- . .' �'� '-. - • • � BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that said building mentioned here- inabove is hereby declared to be a public nuisance as provided by Chapter 9. 36 of the Redding blunicipal Code, and is hereby ordered ' to be abated by repair , rehabilitation, demolition or removal. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Fire Marshal and the Board of Appeals of the City of Redding are hereby directed to take all proceedings provided in Chapter 9 . 36 of the Redding Municipal Code. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clesk of the City of Redding be and she is hereby authorized and directed to for- ward a certified copy of this Resolution to the County Recorder of Shasta County for recordation.
