HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso. 1980 - 053 - Overruling protests - Castle Court Assessment District no. 1979-5ilr RESOLUTION NO. cO- d- RESOLUTION OVERRULING PROTESTS CASTLE COURT ASSESSMENT DISTRICT NO. 1979-5 The City Council of the City of Redding resolves: On February 19, 1980, the City Council held a public hearing on the Resolution of Intention and the Engineer' s Report on the pro- posed improvement in Castle Court Assessment District No. 1979-5. On March 17, 1980, a public hearing was held on increased assessments for this assessment district. At or before the time set for hearing, certain interested persons made protests or objections to the proposed improvement, the extent of the assessment district or the proposed assessment. The City Council hereby overrules each of these protests, written or oral. The City Council finds that the protest against the proposed improvement (including all written protests not withdrawn in writing before the conclusion of the protest hearing) is made by the owners of less than one-half of the area of the land to be assessed for the improvement. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City Council of the City of Redding, Shasta County, California, at a regular meeting thereof, held on the 17th day of March, 1980, by the following vote, to wit: AYES: Councilmembers Kirkpatrick, Pugh, and Fulton NOES: Councilmembers None ABSENT: Councilmembers Gard and Demsher MILDRED L.
