ORDINANCE NO. 2352 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF REDDING AMENDING THE ZONING MAP OF THE REDDING MUNICIPAL CODE RELATING TO THE REZONING OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY IN THE CITY OF REDDING (RZ-5-04) The City Council of the City of Redding does ordain as follows: Section 1. That the boundaries of the districts referred to in Section 18.01.050 oflhe Redding Municipal Code, as designated on a map entitled "Zoning Map of the City of Redding, California," dated January 7, 2003, are hereby altered as set forth on the map attached hereto and made a part hereof by: REZONING: 62 acres generally located at the intersection of Argyle Road and Airport Road (3655 and 3600 Argyle Road and 3901 Airport Road) FROM: "HC" Heavy Commercial District and "RM-15" Residential Multiple Family District TO: "GC" General Commercial District, "GO" General Office Dfistrict, "RM-15" Residential, Multiple Family District, and "RS-2" Residential Single Family District Section 2. On the basis of the initial study for Rezoning Application RZ-3-04. prepared by the Development Services Department, the City Council finds that the subject rezoning will not have a significant effect on the environment and approves the Negative Declaration with the following findings: 1. The City of Redding has completed a Negative Declaration for the rezoning. Based on analysis of the potential impacts associated with the rezoning, the project will not have a significant effect on the environment. 2. The Mitigated Negative Declaration and its supporting documentation reflect the independent judgment and analysis of the City of Redding. . Section 3. This ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date of its adoption; and the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this' ordinance and cause its publication according to law.
